Solange Maison is an entertainment-driven restaurant that blends eclectic Chinese cuisine, live music,
and French-inspired ambiance for a richly immersive dining experience framed by the early stirrings of Art
Deco. Created through a visionary partnership between Alan Yau and Nejoud Restaurant Management
Company, Solange offers a refined balance of bold flavors, performance, and timeless sophistication.
THE INTERIOR
Designed by Parisian architect Hervé Bourgeois, the interiors feature custom tiles, bespoke
artwork, and stunning details like A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains by De Gournay.
From a design perspective, and in line with the evolving dialogue of interior architecture,
the space moves beyond chinoiserie and engages with the early era of French Art Deco.
Solange is situated in a distinct stylistic moment: post-chinoiserie, within the nascent phases
of Art Deco, yet just before the minimalist refinement of Jean-Michel Frank.

The stories of glamour: every poster on our walls celebrates an icon of the golden
age of Italian cinema and the glamorous lifestyle it inspired. Each name and persona
showcased reflects the bold spirit of the decade, a time when effortless style,
unforgettable personalities, and the relentless pursuit of capturing the
perfect moment defined an era.
THE ART
Eric Stefanski's art is bold and direct, using simple but powerful words and thick, textured
paint to create a strong emotional impact. His work mixes humor and honesty, exploring
themes like identity and everyday struggles in a way that feels both personal and relatable.
At Mr. Holmes, his custom-made art is a key part of who we are, bringing that same fresh,
authentic energy to every store and making our spaces feel unique and connected.
